Last year, we asked our voters to approve a bond sale so we could replace the 109-year-old kindergarten through 2nd grade wing of our building. Thanks to all of you, the referendum passed by nearly a 2 to 1 margin and we are starting to see some movement on this project.
At the October board meeting, we entered into an architectural agreement with Farnsworth Group. This came after seeking bids for qualifications and interviewing the top three firms. Not only did Farnsworth fit the bill for this project, but both lead architects are MVTHS graduates with ties to Bethel Grade School. They have already begun the design phase of the project.
Today, our bond sale was finalized so that we will have the funds to see this project to the finish line. We would like to thank King's Financial for all of their help in getting this done.
Be on the lookout in the coming months for more updates and milestones achieved. We are excited to work towards a new facility that will serve our students for years and years to come.
