First Grade took inspiration from Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade to make their own balloons for the 4th Annual Bethel Thanksgiving Parade. It’s so fun to watch the whole school cheer for our little artists!

Mrs. Kueker and Mrs. Tate's class learning about fossil fuels this week. The students learned about Fossil Fuel formation and chocolate chip ( coal) mining.
Second quarter midterm report cards will go out today. Also, if you are interested in the YMCA after-school program, please return your forms by Monday, November 25th.
BETA volunteered to run the blood drive tonight at the school. We were busy from start time to past closing time! 31 people came in and attempted to give; 27 were successful donators! We also had three Power Red donors tonight, which is amazing! I'm super proud of the kids and the community service they participated in tonight!
The Lady Bulldogs fell to Woodlawn tonight dropping their record to 6-5. They will be back in action at Iuka Thursday night.
Our BETA club inducted six new members last night. Now they will begin preparing for the state convention in Springfield that will take place on March 4th and 5th.

The legend of the candy cart continues. Every Friday students who won their class's dog paw drawing get a visit from Coach Lampp and the candy cart to pick out their treat.
Bethel Grade School would like to wish our Board of Education a Happy School Board Members Day. Our board members are Rod McCoy (President), Nathan Pigg (Vice President), Eric Gokel (Secretary), Megan Flexter, Brandon McCoy, Kelly Tackitt, and Travis Settle. Board meetings are usually held on the last Thursday of each month. Check the website for meetings.
The American Red Cross came by this morning to talk to the kids about the importance of blood donation and how donated blood is used. We will have a blood drive on the 20th from 2:00 to 6:00 in the cafeteria.
The girls' basketball team will play in the Summersville Tournament the Week of December 2nd. The bracket is available here.
The Bulldogs took down Iuka tonight 41-31. They will be back in action tomorrow night at Spring Garden. The Lady Bulldogs will play at Rome tomorrow night.
