The Lady Bulldogs won in straight sets tonight against Akin on 8th Grade Night. A big thank you to everyone who came out to help celebrate our kids and families. We are back in action tomorrow night at Rome.

Our BETA club competed at the state level today and placed in 3 categories. I am always so proud of our small school and how we can show up among the best of the bigger schools! Sophia B. took FIRST place in Poetry
Alli Price took 3rd place in 6th grade Social Studies, and Jonathan Varis took 3rd in 6th grade Physical Ed/Health. I am a proud sponsor again this year! in addition, we competed in a new category of cake decorating, and our own Savanna Welch did an outstanding job! What a long but amazing day! Bring on Nationals at Universal Studios this summer!
Bethel is on the board at the state BETA Convention with some online submissions. We will have a full list of winners by the end of the day.

Thank you so much to ARCO Murray for awarding us the Bike Ride for the Kids Grant this year. They paid for our National Team Registration and our Mission Models. This was written by our team members to send to them.
It is School Social Worker Week! Bethel may not have a school social worker, but we do have two awesome ladies who come in and see our kids. A big thank you to Tiffany Glenn from ROE #13 and Alicia Mills from Spero.

The JV Bulldogs took down Opdyke Belle-Rive tonight in the Spring Garden Tournament 35-19. They will play tomorrow night at 7:30 against Spring Garden.
The Scholar Dogs won against Spring Garden today in both the JV and Varsity matches. They will compete at Grand Prairie tomorrow.

If your child participates in peewee basketball plesse make sure if you are not going to be at a game due to sickness or any other reason please notify your coaches. we had 3 2nd graders show up for a game today. I will be forced to look at cancelling a team and combining to 1 team if this is what is to happen.
