After completing a unit about cells, 8th grade did projects. Students had the option of building a model, creating a Netflix series or even writing a song and making a video.

We would like to give a big shoutout to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office for their help in conducting our intruder drill today. Captain Weeks and Deputy Weaver walked through our procedure and helped us with any vulnerabilities. We are very thankful for this guidance as we make student safety a top priority.

The Bethel-McClellan softball season came to an end today with a regional tournament loss to top-seeded Waltonville. A big thank you to the kids, coaches, and parents for your commitment to our schools.

Thank you to everyone that came out to celebrate our 8th grade softball players today. They fell 17-8 to Odin. Another thank you to the PTO for decorating the dugout for them.
Bethel Grade School has the following Employment Openings:
Individual Aide for a student placed at Field Grade School in Texico. Interested candidates must possess or be eligible for an Illinois Paraprofessional License and complete all background checks.
Assistant Girls Basketball Coach. Interested Candidates must have knowledge and experience in the game of basketball. Previous coaching experience is preferred but not required. Background checks are required.
The Lady Bulldogs fell to Field today at home. They are back in action tomorrow at home against Odin and it's 8th Grade Day. Come help us celebrate our 8th grade players.
Pick-up announcement: We will be using the north parking lot for pick-up today. Thank you for your continued patience while this project is moving along.
Today's baseball game against Geff will be played at Bethel. You will not be able to park on the north lot so please park on the east side of the building. Please do not block the bus gate.
First-quarter midterm report cards will go out today. Look for the blue paper.
